Hennig Inc. has entered a joint venture in China forming a new company: Dalian Hennig Machine Protection Co., Ltd. This new company became a legal entity on May 17, 2004. Hennig products manufactured in the USA will be serviced by this new company. This will ensure after-market service opportunities for the Hennig global network, as well as replacement component sales. Manufacturing is scheduled to commence within the next year.
Based in Dalian, this new manufacturing and service presence in China provides an opportunity for greater short term and long term growth prospects. The initial customers will be regional OEMs, and eventually the entire Chinese market. Their machines will have Hennig quality way covers and enclosures on them.
The addition of the Dalian-Hennig joint venture to the Hennig global network give the company a truly worldwide presence, and access to every viable machine tool market in the world.
